Supplier Standards and Audits

We expect all suppliers to uphold the same high standards that we apply to our own workforce. Our supplier terms require compliance with all applicable laws relating to employment, human rights, and modern slavery, and we reserve the right to terminate contracts where suppliers are unwilling or unable to meet these expectations.

We conduct supplier audits on a risk-prioritised basis. These audits may include desk-based reviews of policies and procedures, verification of right-to-work documentation practices, and, where appropriate, site visits and interviews with workers. Where non-compliance or areas of concern are identified, we expect immediate corrective actions and a clear plan to address gaps. Persistent or serious breaches may lead to the suspension or termination of the business relationship.

Awareness, Training, and Reporting Channels

We are committed to raising awareness of modern slavery risks among our staff, particularly those involved in procurement, contract management, and supervision of frontline operations. Training covers the indicators of modern slavery, how to escalate concerns, and the importance of maintaining a culture of vigilance and responsibility.

We maintain confidential reporting channels through which employees, contractors, and suppliers can raise concerns about potential modern slavery or unethical practices. Reports can be made to line managers, senior management, or through our dedicated reporting route, which allows individuals to raise concerns in confidence and without fear of retaliation. All reports are taken seriously, investigated promptly, and handled sensitively.

Continuous Improvement and Annual Review

We acknowledge that tackling modern slavery is an ongoing process, and we are committed to continuous improvement. Each year, we review our policies, risk assessments, training programmes, and supplier management processes to ensure they remain effective and proportionate to the risks in our operations and supply chains.
